Pakistani EV market intelligence

Nobody covers this market at depth. Global research firms treat Pakistan as a rounding error and local sources are either marketing material or guesswork. We built the dataset because we needed it ourselves.

Business enquiries

This reaches the commercial desk. It is not an editorial address, and nothing sent here is seen by the people who set scores.

Where the data comes from

  • Site behaviour and comparison data
  • Structured owner interviews
  • Dealer and market tracking
  • Published regulatory and policy sources
  • The Voltranker vehicle database
How each one is collected

Who buys this

Six kinds of buyer, six questions

If one of these is the question you arrived with, we can probably answer it.

Manufacturers and distributors

What do Pakistani buyers in my segment actually compare me against, and where do I lose them?

Dealer groups

Which models are being researched hardest in which cities, and how far ahead of a purchase?

Banks and insurers

How do I price an EV loan or policy when I have no local loss or residual data?

Charging network operators

Where is unmet demand concentrated, and which connector standards matter?

Foreign entrants

Is this market real, what does it reward, and who already owns the segment I want?

Policy and regulatory bodies

What is independently observable about adoption, versus what industry reports about itself?

Commissioned research

PKR 3–8 lakh four to six weeks depending on scope

You bring a question about the Pakistani EV market. We design the method, run it against our own traffic data, comparison patterns, owner interviews and market tracking, and deliver a written report with the underlying method disclosed.

Discuss a research question

Examples of questions we can answer

  • What do buyers researching electric SUVs in Lahore and Karachi prioritise, and how does that differ from Islamabad?
  • Which specifications make a buyer abandon a comparison, and at what threshold?
  • How does real-world range anxiety change purchase intent across price tiers?

What a commissioning client controls, and what they do not

You choose the topic. We choose the method and we report the finding, including when the finding is unwelcome. We do not write to a conclusion, we do not suppress a result, and we retain the right to publish the methodology used. A commissioned report is not a press release, and we will not produce one.

State of the Pakistani EV Market

Quarterly

A standing quarterly read on adoption, pricing, model availability, charging build-out, policy movement and buyer behaviour. Same data, same method, every quarter, so the trend lines are comparable rather than re-cut each time.

The first edition has not published. There is nothing to buy yet and no sample to show, and we would rather say that than take an order against an empty shelf.

Get notified when it publishes

One email when the first edition lands. Confirm by clicking the link we send, and one click unsubscribes for good.

Provenance

Where the data comes from

Five sources, named plainly, each with a line on how it is collected. You should be able to judge the method before you buy the finding.

Site behaviour and comparison data

What visitors filter by, compare against each other, and abandon. Aggregated across everyone, never read per person.

Structured owner interviews

Repeatable question sets run with real owners, so answers are comparable across quarters rather than anecdotal.

Dealer and market tracking

Price lists, availability and lead times, recorded with the date they were observed.

Published regulatory and policy sources

Tariff, duty and incentive documents, cited so a reader can check them.

The Voltranker vehicle database

Every specification and price we hold, with its source and the date it was verified.

Privacy

We sell patterns. We do not sell people.

  • No individual user records.
  • No email lists.
  • No contact details.
  • No identifiable browsing behaviour.
  • No data that could be reversed to identify a household.

Every figure we sell is aggregated across a sample large enough that no individual is visible in it. And we do not sell data about a company to that company's competitor beyond what is already public on Voltranker — which is, we assume, your first unspoken question about this product.

Commission research

Tell us what you are trying to find out. We will come back with whether we can answer it, how, and what it would cost — or tell you plainly that we cannot.
