Bikes & Scooters

Electric two-wheelers on sale in Pakistan. Specifications and prices only — these are not ranked.

How we score

These are not ranked, and that is deliberate

Battery swap availability, battery removability, licence class and cargo capacity decide whether a two-wheeler works for someone — and none of those factors exist in our car methodology. Porting the 4W weights across would produce a number that looks authoritative and means nothing. A separate 2W methodology is being built. Until it is published, these listings carry specifications and prices only.

What a 2W methodology has to answer

A rider who can carry the battery up three flights of stairs has a completely different ownership experience from one who cannot, and no amount of range figures captures that. The same goes for swap networks, licence class and whether a bike can carry a delivery box. These are the questions a 2W methodology has to weigh, and none of them appear in the car version.

We would rather publish specifications with no ranking than a ranking we cannot defend. When the 2W weights are published, they will go through the same changelog as every other version.
